This has been an amazing week. I am now wishing I would have been blogging all week so I wouldn't forget everything that has gone on, but somehow I lost time...or forgot!? Anyways, I'm going to attempt to do a quick overview on everything, so bear with me.  I'll try and make it short and sweet.

Yookie:  My week started off with my friend Yookie, who is the hip hop dance instructor at the gym, coming over and sharing his testimony with our team.  It was totally unreal.  Yookie is an amazing guy, and God is using his story like you wouldn't believe.  He came to tell us the story of him growing up as a child soldier in the Congo, but how God spared him.  He lost his entire family. He walked for over 7 years from the Congo to Durban, South Africa.  He lost three of his friends to crocadiles.  He starved.  He was forced to eat his own flesh to survive.  He lived as a street kid.  He had literally nothing. BUT God still pursued Him.  God drew Yookie to himself, and rescued him from the Pit.  Incredible.  Yookie, despite what he's gone through, each day praises God and desires for his life to be all about HIM.  I think its crazy.  He had nothing, and God provided everything.  I saw God all over his life, and despite the hardship God is still God.  I love it.

Joshua Project:
We are starting a new program on Tuesdays for the kids with music, crafts, lessons, games, and of course some snacks.  Anyways, we are going through the Gospel by colors.  This week we started with Gold which represents Heaven. So on Monday we decorated the room with as much God and yellow we could find.  We build a throne and made cupcakes for all the kids.  On Tuesday when all the kids arrived, we dressed one of the boys up as The King, put him on the throne, created an entourage to go before the king with drums, and then we went on a parade for the King.  It was SO fun.  The kids absolutely loved every second of it.  It was followed with a short less that God is our King and we are all his princes and princesses.  We made some crowns for all of the kids and definately enjoyed the cupcakes!

Clinic:
The clinic this week was nuts!! There was only one Sister working on Wednesday and way more people to help than humanly possible.  I felt really bad for all the people that sat there all day and never got to see a nurse at all.  Hilliary, Katie, and I brought back a bunch of coloring books, books, and games for the kids.  We decided to bust them out this week.  They were a big hit.  It was a great break for the moms and something fun for the kids to do while they waited.  We were able to meet more people at the clinic but also help keep all the kids occupied and out of the way.  I also got to spend some time with Louise discussing American pop culture, and just blessing her as much as I could.  She gave me the best peach I have ever had in my life!! It was sooo good:)

So, I think that's it!! Thats a quick update!!!
