So wow, the last couple of weeks have be absolutely crazy! I was in the Dominican Republic for a week with my family. It was a good break for sure! I flew home, was in Atlanta for 12 hours to do laundry, and then I left for Impact. Impact is a camp for 6th grade through just graduated seniors. It was my first experience at Impact as a team leader and I have to say it was probably one of my favorite weeks ever. The camp focused in on Identity this year, which was absolutely amazing because I think we all need to be reminded of who we are in Christ. It is so easy to buy into lies and forget exactly who you are and the Power we have. One of my favorite things about this camp is that they focus a TON on small groups. They put all the kids in family groups with a guy and a girl leader. I has twelve AMAZING 16 yr olds and a great co-leader. Its amazing to see how God has created us for such relationships and that over the course of one week we did indeed for a family, a body that desired to know HIM more not just individually, but also as a whole. If you think about it, keep my 12 little Sapplins (their nickname…dont ask) in your prayers because they are all going to be going into their Junior year of HS and God has a HUGE desire to use each and every one of them to change their worlds.
Here are some pictures of the staff getting ready to greet the kids! Our theme in our age group was Mythbusters…I think we definately accomplished the look we were going for!
All of the G-Unit Staff! YOU KNOW!
My family Group!!! Aren’t they precious!?!?!
As far as my support update, God has been incredibly faithful thus far! I have raised $4115 in one time gifts and about another thousand in pledges. I know God will provide!
